I work as a full time artist after over thirty years teaching Art in schools in Cheshire, Northamptonshire and Derbyshire. After retiring from teaching I mainly paint landscapes based on the industrial archaeology of my native Derbyshire and seascapes based on places I often visited. 

I initially painted using acrylics and mixed media using watercolours and pastels. After being without a studio for nearly two years I started experimenting painting on an I Pad. I eventually moved to Alnwick in Northumberland and I now have a studio space.

I have exhibited at many venues over the years.
